Ofsted inspection

The agency has been graded as Effective in all areas at our first Ofsted inspection. The report highlights that; “Staff apply the agency’s registration processes rigorously and are uncompromising in the decisions they make. For example, staff let an applicant know if they do not meet the agency’s expectations for registration and make it clear what the applicant needs to do to meet the requirements of the early years foundation stage in order to be ready to start childminding”

“Childminders say that the support they receive is helping them to improve their
practice. This is because agency staff know the childminders well and tailor support to their individual needs.”

It feels very satisfying to have reached this important milestone as an Agency and gives us an excellent platform to continue to grow and develop the service into the future. We have already registered our first childminders out of our original areas of Richmond and Kingston in Merton and Crystal Palace and we have made good connections with the early years teams in these Boroughs in order to support these childminders. In addition we will be holding information sessions to enable any childminders currently registered with Ofsted to come along and find out more about us. Details of these sessions will be advertised on the website as they are confirmed.
